message sbrami about this ad I am in the unfortunate position of having to rehome my 6 and a half year old German Shepherd, Monroe. Sadly, he does not do well with small children and I have two toddlers and one on the way. Monroe is a sweet dog once he gets to know you, but has a history of stranger reactivity (lunging, growling) and resource guarding (mainly his humans and home He should only be in a home that is pet and children free and that does not have many unfamiliar guests over because of his stranger reactivity (I keep him crated and/or in another room when unfamiliar people are over. He would do well with someone who has experience with dogs of a similar temperament and . Other than that, he is very sweet with his people and loves to be active but is also okay with chilling at home. He listens well and is house trained. He is also neutered.
