message billlbcin about this ad Molly is 1/2 poodle, and 1/2 lab mix. She is a spayed and chipped 5 year old female up to date on all shots. She weighs about 50 pounds. LIke most labs, she is protective of her family and hesitent when meeting strangers. Molly is our son's dog and very attached to our family. She is very fluffy, see picture on left, but we keep her hair short as she loves to run when we walk our 20 acres and short hair is easier to keep clean as she is an inside dog and quite a homebody. She does not get along with other dogs and has never been introduced to cats. We are looking to rehome her because our son recently moved and can't have dogs where he lives. She lives with us but as we recently retired and do quite a bit of travelling and we have yet to find a kennel where she does well. Evidently when we board her, she barks alot and is prone to anxiety. She has also managed to escape once while being boarded. This is not behavior we see at home but since 3 kennels have said the same we can only believe it to be true. Anxiety pills don't seem to help. She does best when someone comes to our place to look after her but we no longer have someone to care for her when that happens. She is well behaved, house broken, and is trained to walk with a leash. She tends to overwhelm small children so we feel she would do best in a home with children ages10 and up or a family where she is the only pet. We have her vet records and she will go to her new home with a years worth of heartworm and flea meds. She has been a wonderful companion for the last 5 years. She is happy animal, full of energy. We are not happy to give her a new home and if by a miracle we find a kennel where she does well, we will keep her with us until our son can care for her again.
