message miajjones about this ad Avatar is a 3 year old Male Dutch Shepherd who is not neutered. He was in the police dog training program but has failed. My job no longer wanted him so they gave him to me, Ive tried different types of sports with him but again he has failed to keep interest in them, so he is better off being a pet dog, which is something I do not want sadly. He is trained in German & English, so he knows Heel, Focused Heel, Sit, Down, Spin, Wait, and to jump over/on objects. He was transported from the Netherlands as a Single Purpose dog, but there is potential in doing bitework with him, (with the proper training There are a couple of issues to be said, 1. he is highly allergic to chicken so he cannot be fed any food brand that contains chicken in it, 2. My job has told me he is dog reactive, but over the past 3-4 months of having him, he is just really intense when meeting new dogs. I had him meet several dogs (females) through crates an other side of fences & was extremely sweet but he does ignore signals other dogs put off and gets intense which can lead to a bad , and 3rd he is on allergy to help with his allergies to chicken! I am willing to negotiate a price on him since he doesnt have much potential to be a working dog. message miajjones about this ad |
