A true breeder understands the value of showing to make sure you are objectively producing cats that are healthy, well mannered, and able to be handled and seen by the judges. While our pet families arent required by any means to show your kittens - its important to understand the difference between ethical breeders who invest the time and care and money into making sure they are upholding their breed standards and producing high quality, healthy animals - vs those who breed cats in poor conditions thinking they can make a quick buck from it! Our cats and their Championship pedigrees show that our lines are seen by judges and have been found to be of solid, true Ragdoll quality. . Kittens will come with their TICA paperwork, proof of pedigree, first two sets of age appropriate , vet wellness exams, spayed and neutered, in excellent well-cared for condition. . Our kitten prices are standard in the hobby for true show quality Ragdolls - we paid much more for our champion bloodline breeding cats. . . While you can certainly find backyard breeders selling kittens and cats for less, the true Ragdoll is still a new and rare breed. Any real cat breeder is usually charging around 2000 - 3000 per adoption fee per kitten, depending on the and quality of the kitten. . All kittens start out cute, sure! . But dont be scammed by the backyard breeders whose cats are not actually Ragdolls and wont grow up to have the looks OR the personality of a show quality cat. . Dont support unethical backyard breeders who say their cats are purebred but have no paperwork to prove it. There are plenty of cats who need homes in shelters that have great personalities. Purebred cats are a wonderful thing but we shouldnt be bringing them into this world just for a quick dollar! Please dont support breeders who want you to shop with them for a cheap cat! There is no way they are even providing their cats with proper VETERINARY CARE and then charging you under a thousand for that kitten. They cut corners and you can look at any Facebook group, any cat forum, for the horror stories of people who get scammed into poorly bred, poorly cared for backyard bred cats. . It is important to make sure your cats are pedigreed and not inbred or outcrossed with random cats - we have too many unpapered cats in shelters You could adopt or foster, and poor breeding leads to issues with heart disease, inbreeding without even realizing it, and kittens dying before they even reach a year old from preventable viruses which spread extremely easily in poor conditions. . Look on any Facebook group or forum and there are posts every week from people who bring home a bargain kitten only to have to decide between putting the kitten down or spending thousands of dollars on for preventable issues with good breeding practices- its heart breaking! . And true Ragdolls are not just about how they look - the breed is also one of the only cat breeds to require them to have a certain temperament too. That temperament is easily lost by greedy people who will breed just any cat, not the right cats. We only choose floppy, sweet, social adults to pass on their temperaments in our program! . Our cats have the sweetest floppiest personalities even our studs . This is a very rare quality that is easily lost if breeders dont take the time to get to know their cats and make sure they have personalities as adults they want passed on in their kittens! . The breed standard is that the Ragdoll should be floppy cuddly and human oriented . . Our cats are from Champion bloodlines that are proven through showing that they have not just the looks but the quality temperament needed in a purebred Ragdoll. . Our friends and family are always pleasantly surprised when they first meet our cats, because they love meeting people and snuggling. They truly flop into your arms and we do a lot to socialize our young kittens so they are ready to be held, loved, and even shown if youd want to!
