message shaliquinn about this ad These two are beautiful, 7.5 years old, and overall the male is in excellent health. The female, however has a tumor that is preventing her from fertile eggs, we have decided not to operate due to cost vs age. That being said she is not showing signs of passing any time in the near future, but it does cause issues with fertility. The tumor is not causing any other issues and is not causing pain it has been seen by our vet. Simply put she is no longer able to breed, and should refrain from continued laying as much as possible. These two overall are not tame (the male is friendly however female is timid I will not sell if you are them or breeding we are seeking retirement homes only! They are looking to retire together and have been bonded their entire lives. My hope is that since he is friendly and enjoys human companionship as well is ideally to find him a home with someone willing to be and stay with him after his mate passes so his later years are not left alone. I have many birds and not the time for his individual attention I want him to have. These two are fairly quiet and have slept in my bedroom on and off for the last 4 years. The female is currently regrowing her brooding patch from her last clutch. You will need a long cage for them to run upside down on.
