message gbca about this ad Finnagen, or Finn, is a Rough Collie who is being pulled from my service dog in training program. Finn is no longer a service dog candidate as he will occasionally try to nip when being brushed. He especially does not like slicker brushes. Extensive has gone into grooming sessions. He was doing a lot better for a period of time and has regressed again. With more and lots of , Finnagen could do very well during grooming sessions. Finn is very in the bath and does very well when being dried with the force dryer. Finn loves to counter surf and find food. For this reason, I think Finn would excel at scent work. Finn has been to a variety of places out in public for training. I rent property on a farm where I house my dogs so he has been exposed to chickens, goats, cows, small animals, other dogs, and cats. He will bark in his crate occasionally, especially if he cant get settled. Finn knows touch, sit, down with luring, luring, yes marker, free marker, and no marker. Finn was working on these things when he was pulled from service work- stay, wait, come, leave it, and had a pretty good heel. He hasnt been worked in some time. Finnagen has been one of my more difficult dogs to potty train. He will do absolutely amazing some days and have accidents on other days. When I am being diligent about keeping an eye on him and taking him out every three to four hours, he does great (this is hard with all my dogs sometimes He will pace very quickly right before he has to go potty. Finn has a medium food drive and a low- medium toy drive depending on the day. The toy has to be moving and engaging for him to want to play with it. He could play with a flirt pole for hours. He will chase a ball, but usually wont attempt to bring it back. He is up to date on all vaccines and not neutered. His birthday is 6/14/2022.
