message sassifrass77 about this ad I have 2 budgies, alittle over a year old, not related. the blue and white is the male and the yellow and green is female. They are happy birds, all the time, but are not tame. I haven't worked with them at all. So, it's possible they could be tamed, but unlikely in my opinion. The male is a little more calm than the female. They are noisy! They all day long. it is driving me crazy. I have finches and parrotlets, but somehow the budgies sound is much more to my ears! They could use more space too, so I am looking for someone who might have an aviary for their budgies or a large flight cage. They eat regular Parrakeet food plus egg food and Millet. I cover them at night. I have not given them a nest box yet. They might breed if they had one, but I am not sure. |
