9 year old Draft cross mare and foal -- $12,000

We are offering Mama, our 9 year old, 16.2 hand, Draft cross mare for sale. She is an EXCELLENT mother. Foals easily out in the pasture unassisted every time. We have owned her for 5 years and she has raised 4 beautiful, excellent minded, friendly, well put together foals for us. Last summer her teammate died unexpectedly and she willing took on her teammates foal along with her own foal and raised him as her own. She let them both nurse from the day we lost her teammate until the day we weaned them almost a year later. We used her to haul manure for the last several years and she is a very hard and willing worker. We had her professionally broke to ride and drive single about 3 years ago and she did amazing. She hasn't worked since 2025 as she was raising the foals and I didn't want to add to their stress by taking her away to ride. (They probably would have all been fine, I just couldn't bring myself to do it after the trauma of losing the other mare) So while Mama has been well broke in the past and always picked up right where she left off when hauling manure we are advertising her as a broodmare only at this time. We are breaking her 4 year old daughter to drive soon and hoping they will work well together, but if Mama goes before the other mare is broke we will not be working her. She also had a beautiful Noriker foal in May (The Noriker stud is an imported, registered Noriker stud standing at 16.1 hands and THICK) Our foal's name is Splash and the $12,000 price includes him.
