This is NOT a chinchilla for a family with little kids or anyone who's easily intimidated by chinchilla antics So, basically she's considered cage aggressive. BUT! Once you get past the streams of pee and pick her up Likes to tuck her head into the crook of your arm while being held Not bad about being held! Actually does pretty well with being handled and petted Will chill with you nicely this chinchilla has never bitten anyoneshe basically is territorial and needs an owner who understands that and will love her regardless we have been told that Mavis will stress-run on a wheel (and this is HIGHLY believable due to her personality, so she should NOT have a wheel in her new home.
