message mysticmorning2 about this ad This is Lokie. She was born May 8, 2019. She was one of our puppies that we adopted out to a very sweet older gentleman. This dog was the love of his life, and he spoiled her endlessly. He recently passed away, and his family brought her back to us to re-home to another special someone so that she can get the love and affection she needs, and deserves. She is extremely sweet and cuddly, but since she was spoiled endlessly, and he gave her his undivided attention, she does need a lot of attention. She definitely wants to be spoiled. She loves to go where you are going, even if its just to the post office. She loves to go on walks, and to lie on the couch, sit on your lap, and sleep cuddled in your arms. She gets along well with children, and other dogs, but she does chase cats. She isnt necessarily mean to them, but she does chase them. We believe that she may be best suited for someone who can give her all the love and undivided attention that she needs and wants, like he once did. Someone that is a home-body, or works from home, or works a job that they can take her along with them. She does need some training, and we are working with her while she is here. But she is a great, sweet dog, who misses her human, and really needs someone to love her. She may make a good emotional support dog, or a good therapy dog to go and visit people in need of some love and attention. She seems to understand emotions, and know when you need her to sit with you and cuddle. She gives just as much love as she receives, maybe more. She is crate trained. She is house broken, however on her first arrival back at our home, she did have a few accidents, mostly on puppy pads, as she got used to a new routine. Weve had her back at our home for a few months now so that we could help her work through her broken heart, and to test her personality, and training. What we have found is that she is not a needy dog. Yes, she needs a lot of attention and love, but she gives back just as much - probably more - than she is given.
