I have two beautiful girls left. They are both very loving and greet with children and other animals. They listen very well. They will add so much joy to any family. We have very high breeding standards, to ensure that you are getting the highest quality puppy for your family. Both parents are genetic and health tested. Dad is 100% St. Bernard and mom is 50% poodle and 50% St. Bernard. Dad is around 167 pounds and Mom is around 110 pounds. Both tested for hip dysplasia. They both have a clean bill of health. We only breed once a year, for the safety and health of mom, and thats only if the vet approves the breeding process. This is moms second litter. Before we breed, Dads sperm gets tested, he undergoes a full physical and hips and joints get checked out. Mom gets ultrasound, x-rays and bloodwork to make sure she is able to breed. Mom gets progesterone testing done to see when she is ready to breed. Mom gets artificially inseminated due to dads size she cannot withhold his weight . While mom is pregnant with puppies, she goes in for prenatal visits, ultrasound and x-rays, ect. She is also on a very strict diet of high protein and calcium food. Which we cook daily for her, which includes chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, green beans, and pumpkin. So puppies grow big and strong. When puppies are three days old they get a vet check up and dewclaws removed. They get dewormed every two weeks as a so nothing depletes them of their nutrients. They also get a coccidia prevention at five weeks and eight weeks. This is one of the number one killers in puppies. They get their first Pavo vaccine at six weeks. They get their first set of shots at eight weeks and that also includes a second dose of Parvo. Parvo, also being a number one killer in puppies. They get vaccinated for kennel cough at eight weeks. Puppies are on high quality dog food (Hills science diet puppy, large breed) which cost $78 a bag and I go through a bag every 3 to 4 days. Puppies are on high-quality milk replacer when starting the transition into food, which is $30 a can and I go through a can every day. We do all of this to ensure you get the best quality puppy. We absorb a lot of your typical cost to ensure your puppy is ready to join your family without the cost and worries of first intial puppy vet visits. Not to mention they have around the clock care between me, my husband, and our 16-year-old daughter. There are numerous times I have to leave work early or go in late as well as my husband or daughter to ensure someone is home to be with the babies. So the hours of work lost adds up. We start socializing them very young. We entertain a lot at our house so we constantly have children and people over so they are out getting played with and being loved on. We live in the heart of wine country so sometimes we will just pick a puppy and take them to the winery to get expose to being out and about. We do the best to ensure a well temperament dog. Unlike a puppy mill dog that is left in a kennel all day and you bring it home and it is terrified of everything. We also start potty training process. We put our heart and soul into raising these giant, healthy, happy, beautiful babies. We love each one of them deeply, and we ensure that they find their perfect match.
