Shelby is a 4 year old spayed female tortie Persian who finds herself needing the right family, she needs a true forever home! We are Shelbys breeders, we took her back when her new family could no longer keep her. They were going through IVF and felt Shelby was stressed in their multiple dog and cat home. While she is doing okay here, we feel she truly needs a home of her own, with her own special people and a shot at real happiness. She deserves to be pampered and loved by a special human! Shelby needs a low stress environment with CAT people. she can play the victim with other cats (attracting bullying) and she needs a home with less than 2 other cats or preferably a home no other cats. Shelby is a lover. She is affectionate and loves to come and lie on your lap for pets. She makes funny little noises like a raccoon and is eager to connect/ talk and have a close bond with you. She is a good girl and gets along with everybody she meets. She is just more relaxed in a quiet environment. Shelby is microchipped, spayed and up to date with vaccines. She is on flea prevention and she is fiv/felv . She will have another vet check before going to a new home. There will be an adoption fee of $250 and we will be searching for the right fit, not just the next person who wants her. You must know how to groom a Persian or be willing/ able to afford to take her to an experienced and professional Persian groomer. She needs her hair attended to regularly, as it is very thick and tangles up very easily. She does not self groom and is best kept in a lion cut.
