The puppies took well after their mom, and gained her sweet . unknown. They are all very paw-expressive and will undoubtedly have some independent behaviors to suit as they grow. None of the puppies have any current food aggression or guarding, excessive barking, human/dog aggression, or any other bad habits. They are not house-trained, and like all puppies, you will need to have plenty to entertain their chewing practices as they teethe and grow. I have started the process of teaching a recall whistle for them, which you can use or discontinue as you please. Ive maintained consistent water exposure since 4 weeks old, and as a result, all of the puppies take well to water and often take baths of their own accord if given the chance (sorry in advance if you find them sitting in their new tiny water dish I have fed the mother 'IAMS Puppy Large Breed dog food through pregnancy and nursing. The puppies have eaten the same since they started solids.
Puppy 1: The roughest Toughest Well, he is and isnt. This guy is a cuddler like Puppy #2 but not as needy. He is definitely the boldest of the bunch and will be a terrifying sight for any intruder to see when he grows up, due to his build and genes. I am requiring a minimum of an indoor-accessible home for him because of his long/thick coat. Basically you at least need to have a dog door that he can freely use to escape the heat if hes outside.
Potential for a great home guardian with his confidence and upbringing.
Puppy 2: This one. Needs a lap. , if you cant handle a giant puddle of fluff laying on you then you should move on. Because he will be a giant puddle of fluff. And he WILL lay on you. I dont know if he has any other purpose besides cuddling. Like puppy #1, I am requiring an indoor-accessible home for him because of his long/thick coat. Maybe an intruder would be scared to see a big fluffy shadow moving towards them? Joking aside, I think he will grow well into his guardian genes.
A good of both protector and needer of pets.
Puppy 3: The first girl, brindle . She is the most tender-hearted of the litter, as far as Ive seen. She rarely jumps on people (even being a puppy) and always asks so sweetly for attention. She doesnt jump into the wave of puppies that want to greet me when I get home, but chooses to wait for the chaos to die down. She will play with the less intense players, like Puppy #5 and her sister Puppy #4.
A very gentle one.
Puppy 4: The second girl, and brindled as well. Definitely is a lot like her sister, but she wont give up her spot when it comes to saying hi. Although she does like it more when she doesnt have to crawl over them to get some pets. Unlike her sister, she will rough-play with the boys when she wants to burn some energy.
Very balanced, in my opinion.
Puppy 5: This tuxedo colored boy wants you to follow him everywhere, play with him, and pet him! But no touching, just pet! He runs away the second you try. I have fewer pictures of him because he doesnt sit still for long and loves his own space. He likes to relax, but definitely needs his everything, everywhere, all at once time!
The curious solo adventurer.
